Sutirtha Bandyopadhyay


I am currently an Assistant Professor in Economics at the Indian Institute of Management, Indore. My primary research interests include applied welfare economics, development economics, food and agricultural trade. My research focuses on the impact of individual level heterogeneity on aggregate welfare measurement. Besides, my research work also includes spatial impact of trade liberalization, measures of subjective well-being and gender discrimination. I obtained my PhD in Quantitative Economics from Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Delhi, in 2017. Before joining the PhD program, I did M.A in Economics and B.A (Hons) in Economics from Jadavpur University, Kolkata.
